“Chasing the Dream” is the definitive documentary series chronicling the history of USA Cricket over the last 20 years as seen through the eyes of the members of the 2006 & 2010 USA Under-19 World Cup squads—the first generation of home-grown American cricketers, teenagers from Queens, Brooklyn, Florida and Los Angeles who were thrown onto the global stage to represent a country that didn’t know they existed.
It is a story of grit, rivalry, and the “Great Experiment” that laid the foundation for the cricket boom we see today.
DIRECTOR’S NOTE: “Akeem Dodson is a former USA National Team player and Captain and professional cricketer with over a decade of international experience. ‘Chasing the Dream’ is his directorial debut, born from a desire to preserve the untold history of the game in America.”
